How long will Permanent Makeup last?
_ Permanent Makeup lasts from 3 to 5 years needing a Yearly colour boost every 12 to 18 months to keep colour and shape looking fresh.
Is Permanent makeup painful?
_Everyone feels Permanent Makeup Tattooing differently, most feel nothing more than a tickling sensation and some feel a little discomfort. most clients relax enough that they can use the treatment to take a little nap.
How do I choose the right technician for me?
_The key to finding the right technician for you is to look at their HEALED work. Go for a consultation and talk through your options. Once you feel confident and happy that you have found the right technician for you then it is safe to go ahead with your treatment.
What happens to my natural eyebrows?
_ I work with and uses as much of your natural eyebrow hair as possible. You will simply pluck the hairs away from around the tattoo to keep them tidy
How long will my appointment be?
_ I try to allow approximately 2 hours for each treatment. 6 week top ups however take from 30 mins to 1 hour.
How do I take care of Permanent Makeup?
_Healing process typically takes 4 – 5 days depending on skin type and treatment. you may experience slight swelling in eyeliner if you choose a thicker heavier option. You must wear a high factor over treated areas when exposed to sunlight. No heavy exercise or swimming for 10 days after treatment, Aftercare will be explained verbally to you after your appointment and you will be given an after care leaflet before leaving the clinic.
8. What should I avoid after the procedure?
After your procedure, avoid excessive sweating, swimming, saunas, sun exposure, and applying makeup on the treated area for at least 7–10 days. Do not pick, scratch, or peel the area, as this may affect the final results.
9. How long does it take to fully heal?
The initial healing period typically takes 7–10 days. However, complete healing takes about 4–6 weeks, as the skin needs time to fully regenerate and the pigment to settle.
10. Will the color fade over time?
Yes. PMU is semi-permanent, and the color will gradually fade over time due to natural skin regeneration, sun exposure, and lifestyle factors. Regular touch-ups help maintain the desired color and shape.
11. Is swelling normal?
Mild swelling and redness are completely normal immediately after the procedure. These symptoms usually subside within 24–48 hours.
12. What happens if I don’t do the touch-up?
Without a touch-up session, the color may fade unevenly or appear lighter than expected. The touch-up ensures better pigment retention, color correction if needed, and longer-lasting results.
